McKean County Democratic Committee's Annual Summer Picnic

We are excited to remind you about the upcoming McKean County Democratic Committee's (MCDC) annual summer picnic — an event that promises good food, great company, and meaningful connections!

Mark your calendars again for Saturday, July 27th, from 2pm to 4pm, at 623 Rock Run Rd, Turtlepoint, PA 16750.

Join us for an afternoon filled with delicious food and the opportunity to meet Pennsylvania statewide candidates as part of their PA Wilds Swing. This picnic is a fantastic chance to engage directly with those who are dedicated to serving our communities.

Admission remains free of charge, and we appreciate any donations to support our ongoing efforts. If you can, please bring a dish to share, although chicken, burgers, hot dogs, and salads will be provided for all attendees.

This family-friendly event is open to all — Democrats and other like-minded individuals. Whether you're a longtime supporter or new to the McKean Dems community, we encourage you to bring your Democratic friends and enjoy the afternoon with us.

The candidates are scheduled to arrive by 3pm, so we encourage you to arrive early to mingle and make the most of this exciting opportunity.

Don't miss out on this wonderful chance to connect, enjoy good food, and engage with candidates who are committed to our communities. We can't wait to see you there!

The McKean County Democratic Committee is excited to welcome all three of its state row office candidates to McKean County this Saturday July 27th as they host their annual summer picnic. Seeking a few more volunteers to work the McKean County Democratic booth at the fair. It is always a great time! I know it can feel intimidating to be a democrat sometimes in a community that is so deeply Republican, but it is important that we show up and continue to inform people about our platform and policies. It is a great opportunity to highlight the good that is coming from the party. We often have the opportunity to talk to elected officials from the other side of the aisle and share with them our concerns. We do not want the media to write the narrative that rural Democrats don't exist. We also have some great local candidates that need our support. The fair will run from August 12th - August 17th. Please send us a message or reply if you are interested in setting up on Sunday, August 11th or working the booth. Thank you.
